Now, a recent update to a LinkedIn page caught the eye of Attack of the Fanboy(via Z-Giochi): a freelance 3D animator and designer named Kieran Turan reportedly listed the following recent freelance work: An image of a potential game bio for Kal El/Superman found its way online, as did apparent concept art for Supes and the comic book villain Brainiac. The most recent development surrounds the name-drop of the title character and is the hardest proof to date that a video game about the Man of Steel might really be on the way.ĬBMhas been tracking the story for several weeks at this point, with interest originally piqued by jobs posted by WB Games Montreal connected to an open world DC game, described as a new IP for next generation consoles. Recently, evidence has been mounting suggesting that WB Games Montreal, the studio behind Arkham Origins (all the other games in the series were developed by Rocksteady Studios) has been quietly developing a Supermangame. The game's predecessors - Batman: Arkham Asylum, Arkham City and more recently Arkham Origins- all proved successful with critics and gamers, and helped redefine how a video game adaptation of a comic book property can work (a historically tricky prospect).
